Help us raise $50,000 by meeting a $25,000 Challenge grant from the Crusse-Imre Foundation!

Backyard Basecamp is asking for your help to renovate our partially constructed farmhouse, located on BLISS Meadows, our 10-acre green space in the heart of Baltimore City. BLISS Meadows is where we (re)connect Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to land and nature through urban community farming, nature education programming, and survival skills training.

This 93 year-old farmhouse has been vacant and in need of repair since we acquired BLISS Meadows in 2019; renovating it will transform how we farm, store food, grow our gardens, feed our animals, and run our programs.

We know the longer our farmhouse remains unfinished, the greater the risk that it will fall further into disrepair over time, causing us to lose the work that has already been done and continue to increase the overall cost of our renovation.

With your help, we can bring the farmhouse back to life for the community, animals, and Backyard Basecamp.

If you would rather send a check, please make it out to Backyard Basecamp, Inc.
